About the Coach

Pat Sturdahl

Certified strength coach. Kinesiology degree. Norwegian stubbornness. All of it pointed at one thing: getting you stronger.

Portrait of Coach Pat Sturdahl

The Coach

Science in the Head, Grit in the Blood

Pat Sturdahl built Sturdahl Performance Group on a simple belief: everyone deserves coaching that's actually coached — programmed for your body, supervised every rep, and progressed with purpose.

He backs it up with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology and the certifications that matter: the CSCS for strength and conditioning, TPI for golf performance, and FMS for movement screening.

The Sturdahls are Norwegian, and if you train here you'll hear about it. "Grind it out" isn't a slogan on the wall — it's how Pat and his dad talk about everything worth doing. The family line says the rest: Norwegians never quit.

Credentials

What the Letters Mean for You

CSCS

Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist(NSCA) — the gold-standard credential for coaching athletes. It means your program is built on exercise science, not internet trends.

TPI Certified

Titleist Performance Institute certification — expertise in how the body's mobility and strength affect the golf swing, and how to train both for more distance with less pain.

FMS

Functional Movement Screen — a systematic way to find movement limitations and asymmetries before they become injuries. Every SPG client is screened before they train.

B.S. Kinesiology

A four-year degree in how the human body moves, adapts, and gets stronger — the foundation under every program written at SPG.

The Standard

House Rules

Grind It Out

Results come from showing up and doing the work — especially on the days you don't feel like it. We make those days easier to show up for.

Norwegians Never Quit

Progress isn't linear. Seasons go sideways, life gets busy. We adjust the plan — we don't abandon it.

Stå På

Norwegian for "keep at it." The quiet, stubborn consistency that turns average athletes into standouts and busy adults into strong ones.

Come meet the coach.

Call Pat, tell him where you're at, and he'll tell you honestly whether SPG is the right fit.
